요약

메이커 중심의 학습 경험이 과학, 기술, 공학, 수학 분야의 흥미와 기능을 향상시키고 STEAM 교육을 위한 유 용한 토대가 될 수 있다는 기대로 인해, 메이커 운동에 대한 관심이 높아졌다. 이 연구는 융합교육 및 과학교육, 기술교육 분야 연구 동향 연구에 근거하여 기존의 분석 도구를 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 변형한 뒤 메이커스페이스 에서의 융합교육 분석 기준을 개발하는 방법을 제안한다. 연구 검토의 단계는 메이커스페이스에 관련된 분석 대 상의 연구 논문을 선별하는 단계, 키워드를 정의하고 체계적인 범주 생성하기, 상세한 검토 및 데이터 추출 단계 의 세 단계로 구성되었다. 개발한 분석 기준에 따라 국외 학술논문에 게재된 메이커스페이스에서의 융합교육 연 구 동향을 연구 정보 및 연구 내용 측면에서 동향을 분석할 수 있는 방안에 대해 탐색한다.

Abstract

The interest in the maker movement has increased due to its potential to support learners to have positive attitudes and skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through making activities; thus, it may usefully affect STEAM education. This study suggests an approach to analyze research trends in STEAM education at makerspaces based on standards from previously published references. The three steps for reviewing references are included selecting publications regarding makerspaces, defining keywords and creating systemic categories, and detailed review and data extraction. The developed standards can be used to explore research trends regarding STEAM education at makerspaces in terms of research information and content.
