요약

이 연구는 국내 대학의 비교과 졸업인증제 사례를 고찰하여 제도 개선에 주는 시사점을 도출하는 것이었다. 각 대학에서는 대학의 특성을 살려 다양한 방식으로 비교과 졸업 인증제를 시행하고 있었다. 비교과 졸업 인증제 운 영의 주요 형태는 1) 필수 영역은 대학 독자적 프로그램이고 선택 영역의 폭이 넓은 사례, 2) 필수 영역은 영어 인증제이고 선택 영역의 폭이 넓은 사례, 3) 각 학과 별 전공 관련성이 높은 영역을 다양하게 운영하는 사례로 구분할 수 있었다. 이러한 졸업인증제 시행의 효과로는 학생의 다양한 비교과 경험을 통한 제 역량 습득과 진로 탐색과 개척의 효과를 들 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 학생의 부담을 줄여주기 위해 선택의 폭은 넓히되 총 이수 시 간을 정할 필요가 있다.

Abstract

This study was to derive implications for improving the case of extra-curricular graduate certificate system at domestic universities by consideration. Each university implement extra-curricular graduate certificate system in various way by utilizing the characteristics of the university. There are three main types of extra-curricular graduate certificate system. 1) The essential area is a university's own program, and there is a case of a wide range of choices. 2) The essential area is english certification system and there is a case of a wide range of choices. 3) A case of operating various areas with high relevance for each major. As effects of the implementation of Extra-Curricular Graduate Certificate of Universities, the effect of acquiring various competencies through various extracurricular experiences of students and exploring and pioneering career paths can be cited. However, in order to reduce the burden on students, it is necessary to set the total number of study hours while expanding the range of options.
