제 4차 산업혁명은 인간의 창의력과 과학기술의 발전으로 나타난 혁신의 산물로, 인류의 삶의 모습을 영구적으로 변화시키고 있으며, 디지털 기술과 물리적인 세계를 융합하여 혁신과 변화를 야기하고 있다. 하지만 인공지능, 가상현실, 사물인터넷 등 급속한 ICT 기술 발전으로 인해 사람들은 일자리를 빼앗기고 정체성을 잃게 되어 방황하는 사람들이 점차 증가하게 되었고, 미래기술 발전과정에서의 인간성 회복이라는 이슈에 주목하고 있다. 이에 따라 인문학의 필요성 이 대두되었다. 인문학이란 자연과학의 상대적인 개념으로 주로 인간과 관련된 근원적인 문제나 사상, 문화 등을 중심적 으로 연구하는 학문을 지칭한다. 즉 인간의 가치와 관련된 제반 문제를 연구의 영역으로 삼는데, 예를 들면, 언어학, 문학, 역사, 법률, 철학, 예술 등의 학문이 포함된다. 최근 비약적인 속도로 최첨단 과학기술 문명을 발전시키고 있는 중국을 살펴보면, 중국은 최첨단 문명에 고대사유를 접목시키는 현상을 발견할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 중국의 이러한 구체적이 사례를 살펴볼 것이며, 이를 통해 인간에 대한 이해 뿐만 아니라 사고의 유연성을 길러 제4차 산업혁명이후 다양한 지식을 융합하여 새롭게 사고하는 능력이 필요한 미래 시대에, 인간과 기계가 주객전도(主客顛倒)되어가고 있는 오늘날의 문제를 진단하여, 과학기술 발전이 올바른 방향으로 나아가고, 궁극적인 목표를 제시하는데도 도움이 되기를 기대해본다.

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is a product of innovation resulting from human creativity and the development of science and technology. It is permanently changing the way people live, and is bringing about innovation and change by fusing digital technology and the physical world. However, due to the rapid development of ICT technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and the Internet of Things, people are losing their jobs and identity, and the number of wandering people is gradually increasing, and attention is being paid to the issue of restoring humanity in the process of future technology development. Accordingly, the need for humanities emerged. Humanities is a relative concept of natural science and refers to a discipline that mainly studies fundamental issues, ideas, and culture related to humans. In other words, it takes all issues related to human values as its research area, and includes, for example, linguistics, literature, history, law, philosophy, and art. Through this, we will develop not only understanding of humans but also flexibility of thinking, and in the future era where the ability to think anew by fusing various knowledge is needed after the 4th Industrial Revolution, today's world where humans and machines are becoming masters and objects. By diagnosing the problem, scientific and technological development will move in the right direction and will also help present the ultimate goal.
