Development gifted and creative education training model for school leaders
Abstract
This study explores the importance of school leaders(principal and vice-principal) in gifted and creative
education. Secondly, it proposes a gifted and creative education training model for them. Reflecting on the characteristics of the intelligent information society and the changes in education following the Fourth Industrial Revolution, this training included Information and communication technology(ICT) that have been in the spotlight recently. Besides, various creative teaching techniques were used so that leaders could naturally learn these creative teaching techniques for gifted and talented students by participating in the training. The ICT was also introduced through field trips to various science and technology facilities and hands-on activities. Finally, we present the results of the development of this training model and discuss future research directions.
