Blockchain-based image data management mechanism model to prevent forgery of video monitoring system
Abstract
Image falsification of the imaging system not only threatens the reliability of critical image attestation data, but it can also violate the integrity of the system. In particular, the storage techniques of video surveillance systems, which have been employed in many recent years, tend to rely on physical storage and cloud, sharing the risk of forgery by the system's manager or an outside third party. In this paper, a mechanism is proposed to enhance the integrity of the image monitoring system and the reliability of image data. In the process of creating block data, the proposed mechanism proposes a reliable image data management mechanism by preventing users from acquiring data except the image manager in the blockchain through encryption and by applying the data integrity of the blockchain by generating hash values of block data.
