A Secure Sharding Method for Privacy Protection in Cloud-based CCTV Surveillance environment

Abstract 

Recently, with the development of cloud computing, interest in outsourcing of a spatial database has increased rapidly. Therefore, a spatial coordinate transformation technique for protecting location data in database outsourcing has been actively studied. However, since existing spatial coordinate transformation techniques are vulnerable to data analysis attacks, when outsourcing the original data as it is, there is a risk that personal information such as medical/disease information and financial information of the data owner is exposed by the service provider. Therefore, this paper proposed a secure sharding technique for the safe protection of CCTV video data. Through the proposed method, the privacy of the image object can be safely protected, so it is expected to be effectively used in the future super-intelligent image surveillance environment.
